DESCRIPTION
The CUIONS™ biocidal storage pouch contains copper nanoparticle impregnated fabric. The fabric is specifically engineered with bactericidal properties to perform contact disinfection, killing 99.9% of surface bacteria. Copper nanoparticle technology has been lab certified to exhibit high antibacterial activity on many bacterial strains such as MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Escheriichia coli.

This SELF-CLEANING BIOCIDAL STORAGE POUCH is clinically proven to be more hygienic than the standard fabric pouch. It has anti-odor properties by contact killing* of bacteria/fungi/microbes that come into contact with the pouch. It is particularly suited for contact disinfection and storage of reusable face mask, makeup blenders, and eyelash curlers; and dry disinfection of makeup sponge to prevent mold formation.
*Copper and its alloys have been officially recognized by the EPA for its ability to kill 99.9% of certain pathogenic bacteria within 2 hours. Since then, copper surfaces have been known for its “contact killing” bactericidal properties.
Laboratory studies show inhibition of 99% of Staphylocuccus Aureus, 98% of Candida Albicans, and 96% of E. Coli upon contact with ZINCOOL™ zinc fibre.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Store makeup brushes and blender, face mask, comb, eyelash curler in your pouch.
CARE: Machine washable with regular detergent. Use delicates cycle with laundry bag to minimise wear and tear. Do not tumble dry. Do not use any fabric softeners when washing or drying. Do not use chlorine bleach as it may degrade the ear elastics over time.
Disclaimer: While copper impregnated textiles have been shown to be effective in limited studies as antiviral agents effective against coronaviruses and respiratory viruses, Dr.TWL Biomaterials does not currently recommend the fabric mask for medical staff usage in high risk healthcare settings. The standard remains the surgical mask (suited for use with our LyoSilk Mask Slip) for droplet precautions and the N95 mask for airborne precautions. The CUIONS Copper Face Mask is intended for use by the general public to cover their noses and mouths, in accordance with CDC recommendations, to help prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Precautions: Not for use in individuals with allergy to copper. Individuals should not use any form of facial masks when exercising, as this impairs the ability to breathe comfortably and could also result in lowered oxygenation levels3. Not for use in the presence of a high intensity heat source or flammable gas, or in high risk aerosol generating procedures. Do not use if damaged or if you have sensitivity to copper or polyester.
